Planning Time to Study
For efficient long-term study, it is important to make time every day, or at least every weekday, to review class material. Look over your calendar, mark any days where previous obligations make it difficult or impossible to schedule study time, and then set aside study time throughout the remaining days. Study sessions of one to two hours will provide you with enough time to cover a sufficient amount of material without causing fatigue or burnout. Alternating shorter study periods with longer ones as your schedule permits will also help make use of time more efficiently, allowing you to gain the knowledge and confidence you need to avoid test anxiety and do well on your exam.
Planning Individual Study Sessions
For each individual study session, you can establish a general schedule that you follow from day to day. You will also want to make adjustments to that schedule if necessary to address specific concerns.
